But there is good news, the WSOP will be held online, this is directly related to the coronavirus pandemic.

As a part of an expanded WSOP partnership with the online poker network GGPoker, the annual series of poker games will be held online for two months. This means that for the first time, international poker

players will have a chance to win the coveted WSOP Gold Bracelet when staying home.

WSOP Online starts July 1 in the United States with the first of 85 tournaments with gold bracelets. The festival will initially be held in the United States through the North American poker network WSOP Online (WSOP.com).

In the USA, the WSOP accepts players from Nevada and New Jersey. This means that players who wish to take part in this summer’s most popular online festival on the WSOP.com platform must be in one of these two states.

The North American WSOP Online Network will play one gold bracelet per day during July.

On July 19, the official tournaments with the WSOP Online Gold Bracelet will begin on the GGPoker Network. The international series will last until September 6 and will be the first event in the history of the WSOP when players outside the United States are able to compete for the official gold bracelet.

As mentioned above, the WSOP Online festival will include 85 tournaments, on Monday GGPoker announced that the schedule will be published in a timely manner and will include a wide selection of buy-ins and game formats.

WSOP.com will offer a series of special promotions and rewards to celebrate its digital edition debut of the annual poker series, a small entry fee (satellite) starts at $1.

The WSOP will also offer a prize pool of $ 100,000, which will be awarded to the best players in all relevant online tournaments scheduled for July.

The annual WSOP runs from late May to mid-July at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. However, due to the Covid-19 crisis this year, the live poker festival was postponed to an uncertain date.

The head of poker operations GGPoker Steve Preiss said that they are happy to recreate poker tournaments with a gold bracelet, because it “will cover the global poker community.”

The total prize fund of the series amounted to more than 134 million dollars, which exceeded the previously announced amount by $ 100 million. The online poker series attracted 485,851 members.
